This is the best deal on the web. Fast & Stable, overclockable to 1600Mhz, and Corsair tech support is helpful and knowledgeable. Best ram purchase I've made in nearly 10 years. At $125.99 from one of these seller, I brought 2 boxes of these ram sticks to future proof my system for the price of 8GB of RAM anywhere else.

My system: AMD X6 Thuban Black edition overclocked to 4.2GHz
Asus Crosshair IV Mobo
Asus 5870 V2 overclocked to 1000 MHz core clock ASUS Radeon HD5870 1 GB GDDR5 PCI-Express Graphics Card EAH5870/G/2DIS/1GD5/V2
Corsair 16 GB Ram overclocked to 1600MHz
10.5 Terabytes of Hard Drive space

Hi, I got this ram for a Core i7 875K rig. Works perfectly @ 1333 9-9-9-24 speeds. Remember you have to enable XMP or else it will default to 1066 Mhz speeds. I can't wait to buy another 8GB!

5.0 out of 5 stars Works on AMD Phenom II 965 and 1100T, April 11, 2011

There are lots of good reviews on this product, I just wanted to add that it works on my MSI 790GX-G65 and an AMD Phenom II 965 Black Edition. I'm using it with 4GB of Corsair (same model but less capacity), for a total of 12 Gb. No problems - just install and let it rip! I am not overclocking anything, and the CPU cooling is stock.

EDIT: I am now using this with an ASUS Sabertooth 990 FX motherboard and AMD Phenom II X6 1100T, and it works fine.

5.0 out of 5 stars Solid RAM Stable at 1866, April 26, 2011
This review is from: Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1600 MHz (PC3 12800) 240-Pin DDR3 Memory Kit for Intel Core i3, i5, i7 and AMD Platforms SDRAM CMZ8GX3M2A1600C9 (Personal Computers)
I used this RAM on a build with an AsRock p67p4 Extreme and an ASUS Sabertooth P67 motherboard. On both builds, the RAM worked very well and ran with stability at 1866Mhz with the stock 1.5v. I did not test any higher frequency as the performance gains were minimal(even from 1600 to 1866). This is nice RAM however beware on some motherboards the fins can be obstructed by some of the larger CPU coolers- yet most will work perfectly.

If you have any questions I might be able to answer for you, leave a comment and I will respond ASAP.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works fine in ASUS P8P67 Sandy Bridge Mobo, April 1, 2011

Works flawlessly on a ASUS P8P67 B3 Sandy Bridge mobo. Given some memory problems w/ DIMMS that are rated higher than 1.5v, these installed and worked as expected. What more can you ask for? Sandy Bridge mobos are picky when it comes to RAM - these work and are recommended by Corsair.

5.0 out of 5 stars Works perfectly with p8p67 pro mobo!, April 9, 2011

I put this ram in the blue slots of my p8p67 pro motherboard. Works great!!! I had to adjust the frequency from 1333 to 1600. I also changed the voltage to 1.5. My old pc had 2 gigs corsair ddr2 800. Going from 2 gigs to 8 gigs ddr3 was huge. I couldn't be happier with my purchase, I highly recommend this memory.

This has to be the most stable RAM I have personally used. The performance of my Macbook Pro 2011 (13-inch, i5 processor) has increased and everything zips around! Not one hiccup or problem. The price is right and would recommend this product.

This worked as easily as Kingston promised. I upgraded from 1066mhz to these 1600mhz chips. The money was well spent. I will be purchasing an additional 8GB of these. I highly recommend. No issues with my set up which is as follows:

Alienware m17x R3
2nd gen i7-2720 Quad Core
Windows 7 Home Premium

UPDATE:
------
I'm about 1 month in with 16GB of this RAM installed. I'm experiencing "freeze" problems at random which requires a forced shut down. I tested running this RAM with an HDD and a SSD and I get problems with both. Even after a clean Windows 7 install, I'm encountering the issues. I might have to return this unless I can figure out a solution. I lowered my 5 star rating to 3 for now.

UPDATE 2:
--------
It's been 3 months now. I found the answer to my freeze problem a while ago, but just remembered to post my findings here. The issue was the timing numbers in BIOS were wrong. If you need information on how to adjust... Read more

LIke others, I've had a good experience with this upgrade so far. I have an early 2011 MBP 15" with a 2Ghz i7. The memory comes up as 1600Mhz instead of 1333Mhz but I can't tell a difference in everyday use, except I get about 45 minutes LESS time on the battery total. I have not noticed any extra heat though. The Intel 3000HD video system now reports 512MB instead of the previous 384MB.

When doing really intense work (mainly compiling in Xcode) I notice a slight improvement, but nothing to suggest that this is a "must-have" upgrade. If you want to call a 3 second improvement over 60 second period "must-have", then you're super sensitive to change because I wouldn't have noticed a difference if the software didn't report the time it took. ...and yes, I've compiled this software enough to know what 'normal' is.

If you can afford the 1600 memory over the 1333, go for it, if not, don't sweat it, you're not missing out on much at all. Skip this and get the... Read more
