I got two of these bad boys to upgrade my new MBP '11 to 8GB of RAM. This option, costing $88 was a much better deal than the $400 from Apple. Great deal, works just as good, and installation was simple. Remember, you need a #00 Phillips Screwdriver to open up the MBP.

I got this to upgrade the memory of my 27" imac (core i3) from 4 GB to 8 GB. Installed it in a minute, and it works like a charm. Even though I don't do much memory-intensive things, I do some graphics and now things fly breezily with more ease. But, an even more amazing thing is (& others mentioned this, too, below), Apple sells the memory (1333 MHz DDR3) for $200; but, here in Amazon, Kingston was under $25 (tax-free and the shipping's so, too...). An order of magnitude, nearly, in difference, and Kingston does the job just as well, too... No-brainer!
