Bought this for my Toshiba Satellite C655 and it works great. Have faster start ups, quicker response, and able to multitask. If you're unsure if any memory is incompatible google crucial memory it will assist you in finding the correct memory. The web site assisted me in determining that my laptop could handle dual channel memory.

Like the 3 other folks who left a one star review, my MacBook Pro started to kernel panic right after I installed the PNY memory. I installed these chips in my work laptop which came with 4GB standard. Up until I installed these new RAM chips I have had all of 1, maybe 2 kernel panics ever. After the install, I had 4 in one day. I am returning these as I type. Not sure if it just lousy manufacturing or what but I have never had bad RAM out of the box like this ever. Won't be buying PNY anything from now on.
Info on my Mac that I am running: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Mid 2010) Model Identifier: MacBookPro6,2 Processor Name: Intel Core i5 Processor Speed: 2.4 GHz

Couldn't be happier with this ram. It was as simple as taking it out of the box installing and firing up the computer. No issues or errors and the computer found it right away. This is a very cost effective way to add ram to a mac system considering how much apple wants for a similar configuration. The computer this was installed in is a 2010 iMac i7 27 inch if that helps anyone else looking. I run both OSX and Win7 and both saw the ram right away. If your in need of additional ram I highly suggest these sticks!
