Installed this into a new Toshiba Portege that was stock with 4GB. It instantly improved the Windows User Index for memory from 5.9 to 7.4. Working great!

I bought this for my recently-purchased 27-inch iMac 3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7. Installation was a cinch and the memory boost is awesome. Also, buying it on Amazon vs. at Apple saves about $360.
