If you need laptop memory, look no further!

THIS IS A SINGLE MODULE 4Gb ram stick that will give a noticeable boost in program speeds and calculations.

If you run windows 7 starter, your OS artificially limits the max RAM to 2 GB, but starter is crap anyways, you cant even change the desktop background.

I installed this on my netbook which has only 1 RAM slot, so real estate wise, this was the logical choice.

There are many brands out there, Patriot (have many friends whose RAM failed), Corsair or crucial, but Kingston is undisputed in reliability, being the OEM Ram company in many computers, including mine.

Install is different depending on laptop, but it is pretty much plug and play,

1 GB is bare minimum, 2GB is pushing it, you really do need 4gb ram to unleash the full potential of what your laptop can handle in terms of how many windows and programs are open.

Just upgraded a laptop using this ram from Kingston, one of the big names left
in the memory market. It was an easy plug and play, Windows 7 booted up and
took about 45 seconds to recognize the new config and showed me 6Gig of memory
in the System window.

If you own a laptop running Vista or Win 7, this is an essential upgrade and here's
why.....your onboard video is using your system memory for video ram. In my case
it was 1.5Gig that was allocated to video. With this upgrade windows open and
programs open blazingly fast. No more waiting for my downloader or media players
to open, no more waiting for Windows Mail either, it opens instantaneously now.

Anybody can manage this install, just pop off the back panel of your laptop, spread
the retainer clips holding the existing ram and pull straight out. These modules
are keyed so there's no way you can put them in backwards. Just make sure you

Popped it into my laptop, ran the laptop's memory tests, no problems found. Less than half the cost of buying basically the same memory directly from HP.
