Laptop started crashing a couple of times a day on a daily basis. I removed the new memory and reinstalled the originals. Haven't had a problem since. HP said that shouldn't have happened. I haven't had time to contact Corsair. Their system for customer service seemed very convoluted and tedious. Installation was simple, and the memory was recognized with no issues. The price paid here was cheaper than crucial, and of course way cheaper than buying from Apple, who wanted 6x the price. This was just installed a week ago, so I can't speak to the longevity yet, but with a lifetime warranty, I'm not concerned with that at all.
